Chasing a massive 351 runs for victory, Myanmar was bowled out for just 13 runs. It was an excellent bowling performance by Nepali who inflicted a miserable defeat on their opponents.
Narayan Joshi was the pick of the bowlers claiming four wickets in a single over. Joshi conceded just one run from his three overs. Mekh Bahadur Sen Thapa also claimed four wickets while Bishal Bikram KC had one to his name as Myanmar side was all out in just 11.3 overs. Hein Htet Aung was the highest scorer with just three runs. Nepal gave seven runs as extras.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first at Terdthai Cricket Ground, Thailand, century by Rit Gautam and more hard-hitting by Bishal Bikram KC, Kushal Malla and Trit Raj Das took Nepal to a mammoth 350 from 35 overs. Gautam took just 78 balls to score 106 runs while KC (42 from 32), Malla (36 from 23) and Das (64 from 29) smashed the ball in all direction in staggering batting display.
