Kathmandu nightclub vandalised after DJ Marshmello fails to show up at gig



Fans of the internationally-celebrated DJ Marshmello resorted to vandalism after the star failed to show up at a gig in Kathmandu on Wednesday night.
Marshmello, whose recent hits include ‘Alone’, ‘Silence’ and ‘Wolves’, was due to perform at Club Deja Vu in Kathmandu, where fans had paid up to Rs 4,000 for the tickets.
According to fans who were at the venue, the organisers announced that Marshmello was not coming to the event only at 1 am. The fans then vandalised the club’s dance floor and demanded that the international star show up at the event. Durbar Marg Police chief DSP Tilak Bharati said that ‘some’ damage was reported at Deja Vu.
Meanwhile, at around 5 am on Thursday, Marshmello posted on his Facebook page that the show had to be cancelled because he was ill. Here’s what he had to say:
