According to Yadav, Province 2 had the highest invalid votes at nearly 9 percent, while the mountain district of Manang had the lowest invalid votes at 0.37 percent.
Invalid vote percentage in the three districts of Kathmandu Valley—Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur—was at 3.81 percent, said the chief of the Election Commission.
The election governing body has estimated the overall invalid vote percentage at below 5 percent mark.
The percentage of invalid votes in the 2008 Constituent Assembly (CA) elections of was 5.15 percent. It was 4.94 percent when the country held another round of CA polls in 2013.
CEC Yadav said the final vote count results of the proportional representation electoral category shall be out after three days.
